Booking terms and conditions
Bookings terms and conditions
Once you have booked your place on a course you are required to pay in full for your course in order to secure your place. Your booking will remain provisional until you have paid in full and will expire after 10 working days, or 5 working days before the start of the course, whichever is first, unless it has been paid for in full.
Cancellation policy: bookings may only be cancelled in writing (send an email or post a letter to our registered address as detailed in our Contact Us pages). If we receive your cancellation letter less than 30 working days before the course starts you will be charged the full course fee. If we receive your cancellation letter with more than 30 working days left before the course starts your payment will be refunded in full. Please contact us in exceptional circumstances. You are permitted to substitute an alternative attendee on any place you have booked at no extra cost.
Course content and advertised schedules are subject to change without notice, which includes cancellation of a course. In the unlikely event that we have to cancel a course we will offer you an alternative date. If none can be provided then a full refund will be offered. Parentskool CICreserves the right to change the advertised content of a course without notice in order to provide our clients with up to date, relevant and appropriate courses or due to circumstances beyond our control. Parentskool CICwill not be liable for any expenses, losses (including any consequential losses/expenses incurred) from any changes we make to our course content or schedules including cancellations.
Parentskool CIC and its trainers do not offer medical advice. If you have any concerns about your baby or yourself please address these to your healthcare professional. Parentskool CICis not affiliated or related in any way to any manufacturers, service providers or brands mentioned in this course. Any purchases that you decide to make are at your own risk.

When it comes to feeding your baby, it is better to breastfeed and we encourage you to try to breastfeed for as long as you can. Every breastfeed counts. You should eat a healthy and balanced diet before and during breastfeeding. A decision not to breastfeed can be difficult to reverse. Introducing a bottle even for one feed a day can negatively impact your milk supply. You should always seek the advice of a doctor, midwife or other healthcare professional if you are going to use formula milk. To avoid risks to your babyís health, always follow the exact instructions on your infant formula label to prepare, use and store the infant formula.
When you request information from Parentskool CIC, book a place, attend any of our courses, or complete a course feedback form, we obtain information about you. This privacy statement explains how we look after that information and what we do with it.
Any information we collect from you is stored in a secure manner and we only allow staff to access the information they need to do their job. Any data held will be within the remit of law ie will be adequate, relevant and not excessive in relation to the purpose for which they are processed.
Under the Data Protection Act 1998 you are entitled to request at any time to see the data which we hold about you (ìthe right of subject accessî). We will charge an administration fee of to £10.00 for this information to be sent to you. To obtain your information just contact us in writing any time at firstname.lastname@example.org or to our registered address and we will respond to your request within 40 calendar days (once we have received the fee and have all the information we need to be able to access your records) as required by law. We are also obliged by law to ensure the data we hold on you is accurate and up to date. If you think we need to make a correction to any data we hold on you, please notify us in writing and corrections will be effected as soon as possible.
We comply and publish, for education, marketing and other purposes, statistics on our courses, attendants and feedback. This information will never identify any individual person but will only show high-level facts and figures.
In the future we would like to contact you to tell you about new courses coming up as well as to arrange reunions for you and the other people on your course. You have the right to ask us to stop contacting you whenever you want. When we send you emails we will always have a clear way for you to unsubscribe to our communications. Or you can get in touch with us directly at any time to tell us not to contact you again. Again we will ensure we do this as soon as possible and will comply with the expectations of the Data Protection Act 1998 to stop emails within 28 days of receiving notification to stop, and post within 2 months of receiving notification to stop.
Any communications we send you will include our full name, and a valid email address where you will be able to opt out of future requests. You may opt out of receiving future marketing communications both when data is collected, at every subsequent occasion when communications are sent out, or whenever you want. We will always give you a clear and simple means to opt out of receiving future communications.
Intellectual Property Rights
All Intellectual Property Rights in or arising out of or in connection with the services and materials which Parentskool CIC provides shall be owned by Parentskool CIC. You acknowledge that, in respect of any third party Intellectual Property Rights, your use of any such Intellectual Property Rights is conditional on the Parentskool CIC obtaining a written licence from the relevant licensor on such terms as will entitle Parentskool CIC to license such rights to you. All Parentskool is materials are the exclusive property of Parentskool CIC .
Intellectual Property Rights, means all patents, rights to inventions, utility models, copyright and related rights, trade marks, service marks, trade, business and domain names, rights in trade dress or get-up, rights in goodwill or to sue for passing off, unfair competition rights, rights in designs, rights in computer software, database right, topography rights, moral rights, rights in confidential information (including know-how and trade secrets) and any other intellectual property rights, in each case whether registered or unregistered and including all applications for and renewals or extensions of such rights, and all similar or equivalent rights or forms of protection in any part of the world.
